Program Description

This spreadsheet calculates the secondary effects (bending moments and shear forces) produced by the releasing moment from differential temperature effects on a continuous beam using the moment distribution method. The releasing moment for each span may be determined using Proforma 'TemperatureDiff.xls' for both the heating and cooling conditions described in BS EN 1991-1-5:2003.
