FramePlane2D application allows determining the resistant capacity of compressed and flexed frames with a double tee section, susceptible to buckling in its plane. For this, the magnitudes of the equivalent imperfections are obtained and the imperfect structure is analyzed.
Goals
The objective is to determine the existing efforts in perfect and imperfect frames with linear and non-linear behavior and to determine the resistance of the sections used.
Instructions
Frame geometry, section shape, dimensions, materials, loads, and out-of-plane boundary conditions are selected.
Different graphs are obtained as results that show the efforts of the perfect and imperfect structure in linear and non-linear calculation, and the proximity of the sections to their ultimate resistance.
